Financial aid is available to families based on financial need. To be considered, please complete the application process by March 15.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Please note that deposits are non-refundable.Tuition refunds will be made when written notification of withdrawal is received by the Friday before the start of the program.

ARE MEALS PROVIDED?
Lunch is not provided. Students should bring a bag lunch and beverage. Fieldston Outdoors has a NO peanut/peanut product policy. Please do not send any peanuts, peanut butter or other peanut products to camp. The camp will not serve snacks with peanuts or peanut products nor will they use ingredients that contain peanut products for cooking activities or special events. However, the camp cannot guarantee that all snacks are prepared in peanut free environments. Therefore, parents of peanut allergic campers will be asked to check the snack ingredients and sign off on snacks that their child can eat. Lunch should include one drink.
Please include two drinks when packing lunch on a trip day. Camp provides snack twice daily.
IS THERE AN AFTER CAMP PROGRAM?
Yes, an extended day is available, for an additional cost. Monday–Thursday 3:45–6:00pm, Friday 2:45–5:00.
IS THERE SWIMMING?
Campers have instructional swim 3 times per week. Campers participate in free swim 4 times per week. Instructional swim program is taught by our certified lifeguards and swim instructors.
IF MY CHILD WILL BE TAKING THE BUS TO CAMP, WHEN SHOULD WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE CONFIRMATION ON THE TIME AND PLACE OF PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF?
Parents receive a call or an email the Friday or Saturday before their child attends camp with pick-up and drop-off information from the bus company, Supertrans.
WHEN ARRIVING ON THE FIRST DAY, WHERE SHOULD I CHECK IN AND DROP OFF MY CHILD?
Families will receive information prior to the beginning of camp with their child's group number and room assignment. Parents driving their children to camp have two options for drop off. You may pull up to the turn-around section near the front of the Middle School where camp personnel will meet your child and direct them to their rooms.You may park your car in designated areas and walk your child to their room. If you are parking your car please follow the directions of the security personnel.
SHOULD MY CHILD BRING A BAG OR BACKPACK? IF SO, WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Please label all of your child’s clothing and other belongings. Backpack: We are very active and may walk some distance on trips or to a picnic lunch. We strongly suggest that you send a backpack (rather than a tote bag or plastic bag) so children can have their hands free.

IF MY CHILD TAKES MEDICATION DURING THE DAY, HOW WILL IT BE ADMINISTERED TO HIM/HER?
Medication that must be administered at camp should be given to the camp nurse. All medications must be clearly labeled and have your child’s name on it. Physician’s instructions must accompany the medication. If your child will have medication at camp (administered by the camp nurse), please complete the medication form, have it signed by your doctor and return the form to Fieldston Outdoors.

FROM THE NORTH:
Go south on the Saw Mill River Parkway, which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway, and exit at 246th Street. Continue south on the service road to traffic light (246th Street). Make a left turn, cross over parkway, and continue to second stop sign (Fieldston Road). Make a right turn onto Fieldston Road and proceed straight ahead to the campus. The driveway for Fieldston (administration building) is to your right; the driveway for Fieldston Lower is to your left.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Travel north on the West Side Highway, which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway, and take the exit (exit 21) at 246th Street. At the first traffic light (W. 246th Street) turn right. Proceed two stop signs to Fieldston Road. Make a right turn onto Fieldston Road and proceed straight ahead to the campus. The driveway for Fieldston (administration building) is to your right; the driveway for Fieldston Lower is to your left.
FROM THE WEST:
Cross the George Washington Bridge, travel north on the Henry Hudson Parkway and proceed as from the south (see above).
FROM THE EAST:
Travel north on the Major Deegan Expressway (Route 87), take exit 11 at Van Cortlandt Park South, bear right and cross over expressway. Go west to Broadway, turn right, continue to second traffic light (242nd Street) and turn left. Bear left onto Manhattan College Parkway and go up the hill past Manhattan College to the Fieldston campus. The first driveway on your left takes you to Fieldston Lower, and the second driveway is for Fieldston.

7th Avenue IRT - Van Cortlandt Park train #1 local (do not take express train) to 231st Street, and then either the #1, #7, or #10 bus to 239th Street. Walk north around curve on Manhattan College Parkway to Fieldston on the right. The entrance to the quad is at the top of the first driveway. Or, take a taxi from the subway station (about $4). You may also take the same train to 242nd Street, exiting by the stairway leading south, go west on 242nd Street and then walk up the hill on Manhattan College Parkway to Fieldston. 8th Avenue IND - Take the "A" train (express) to 207th Street, exiting at the furthest uptown exit. Then take the #7 bus going north to 239th Street. Continue walking north around the curve on Manhattan College Parkway to Fieldston. Or, take a taxi from the subway station (about $5).
Take any crosstown subway or bus transportation to make a connection with the West Side subways (see above).
BxM1 and BxM2 express buses, run by the city between Riverdale, Bronx, and East & West Midtown, Manhattan, travel via East Side and West Side routes.
